My wife is abusive towards me and my. She verbally assaults every one of us on a daily basis. It is getting old and tired. While I have dealt with it for 13 years, and developed a very thick dating agencies in australia skin, it breaks my heart every day to watch what she is doing to our. In addition I have been labelled as the abusive one by her, and her family because when she drives me to the edge and I explode it is usually not a sight. I have never raised my hand to her. I have come back at her verbally, but NEVER in a malicious, unscrupulous, down and dirty, evil fashion. I think that she honestly believes she is better than everybody and has the right to speak to me (or anybody -) this way. It simply blows my mind. In addition she puts on an amazing act when there are others around. When it's just me and the she has the sharpest tongue I have ever heard! The put-downs usually come in a string and are relentless! I am talking a constant stream of evil directed at me, and the, it is UNBELIEVABLE! You would have to hear it to believe it. Anybody I have ever told about this simply doesn't believe it is possible for her to do this. I have saved approximately 13 voice mails on my cell phone where she has ripped me to shreds. I offered to play them for her parents but they won't hear of it. I am saving them because I think I need to have them for evidence some day. Anyway, my plan is to start recording her berating behavior. I have purchased a digital recorder which interfaces with my laptop via USB port. I start saving audio files of her and beligerance. I guess my question is still the same can I use these recoredings to force her to get help and deal with this? I would hate to have to use them to take her away from her, but I can no longer sit by and watch what she does to them. And, I am getting kinda tired of being told what a loser I am as well. Oh, and by the way, this loser works two jobs, makes over $ K/year to support her, and keep her living where she wants to live. I am getting tired
